We are still buzzing from the Christchurch Firebirds Intersuburbs League Opening Day this past Saturday! It was absolutely amazing to see such a fantastic turnout and so much passion on the field.
A massive thank you to all the families, friends, and teams who came out to support our players and made the atmosphere electric.

Intersuburbs League 10U Champions
What an incredible finale for our 10U Division! A massive congratulations to the St. Albans Underdogs for claiming the first-ever 10U Intersuburbs League Championship trophy!
It was an absolute battle on the court against a tough FIL Consulting Engineers team. Both sides left everything out there, showcasing amazing talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The Final ScoreSt. Albans Underdogs: 27 - Champion
FIL Consulting Engineers: 21 - 2nd Placer
10U Season MVPA huge shoutout to Aerys Hesper N. Flores from the St. Albans Underdogs for a phenomenal performance throughout the season to take home the MVP honors!
Intersuburbs League 12U Champions
INTERSUBURBS LEAGUE SEASON 1: 12U CHAMPIONS!
History has been made! A massive congratulations to Hornby Happy Brush for capturing the first-ever Intersuburbs League 12U Division Championship trophy!
It was an incredible, hard-fought matchup against a fantastic Rolleston 67ers team, finishing with a final score of 46 - 28.
Huge shoutouts are in order:
To the Players & Teams: Both squads left everything out on the court. The talent, heart, and sportsmanship on display were absolutely incredible!
To the Coaches & Families: Thank you for your endless dedication, late-night practices, and loud cheering sections all season long. This wouldn't be possible without you!
Special Recognition: A massive thank you to Coaches Kim Rodriguez Abutin and Denis Gonzales of Hornby Happy Brush for leading the team through an incredibly successful and memorable season!

What a spectacular way to wrap up Season 1 of the Intersuburbs League. We are so proud of the growth of youth basketball here in Christchurch!

HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE!
What an absolutely incredible finish to Intersuburbs League Season 1! A massive congratulations to the Ricc City Reapers for a dominant performance to claim the first-ever 15U Division Championship trophy, defeating the previously undefeated Rolleston 67ers with a final score of 58 - 37!
A special shoutout to the 15U Season MVP, Cj Geronimo , for an outstanding performance!
A Battle of SuburbsI it was a thrilling matchup between two fantastic teams. Massive respect to the Rolleston 67ers for an unbelievable, undefeated run leading up to the grand finale. Both teams showed immense heart, skill, and sportsmanship on the court.

INTERSUBURBS LEAGUE SEASON 1: 17U CHAMPIONS!
History has been made! A massive congratulations to the Addington Pistons for capturing the first-ever Intersuburbs League 17U Championship trophy in an absolute thriller of a game!
The Pistons took the grand finale with a hard-fought 54 - 46 victory over an incredibly tough Cashmere Flycheap squad. What an unbelievable matchup to close out an amazing season!
A special shoutout to the 17U Season MVP: Thadd Paje! Way to lead the way and dominate the court!

Huge congratulations to our very own Yeshua Lectura (#7) for being crowned the King of the Intersuburbs for Intersuburbs League Season 1!
Not only did he claim the individual crown, but Yeshua also led the charge to bring home the first-ever Intersuburbs League trophy for the 17U division! Talk about making history!
Your exceptional leadership on the court, elite skills, and absolute dedication have set the standard for what it means to be a Firebird. You stepped up when it mattered most, guided your team to victory, and proved exactly why you deserve this honor.
